Gemstones described by Sookjai as natural are of natural origin. If a stone is lab-grown or another laboratory-created material is offered, it will be identified clearly so that it is not confused with a natural gemstone.

Yes. Available treatment information is presented on the gemstone page and shared before purchase. We do not describe a gemstone as untreated or make claims about treatment, origin or quality unless the information can be supported.

Not every gemstone is accompanied by a laboratory report. The product page will indicate whether a gemstone is certified or whether an independent report can be arranged. The absence of a report does not change Sookjai’s guarantee that the gemstone is represented accurately.

Yes. Sookjai can arrange submission to an independent gemological laboratory. A full report may include treatment and origin information where the gemstone type and laboratory testing allow it. Some softer gemstones cannot be assigned an origin. The available report, cost and expected timing will be confirmed with you before submission.

We photograph gemstones primarily under controlled white light and do not alter their colour to create a misleading appearance. Colour may still vary slightly between screens and lighting environments. Additional photographs or videos, including natural-light views when possible, may be requested before you decide.

Select the gemstone you would like and proceed through the available purchase or contact option. A gemstone is confirmed for you only after full payment has been received and verified. Adding a gemstone to your selection or beginning an enquiry does not by itself secure it.

Payment may be made by bank transfer or by the card payment options available at checkout. Bank-transfer orders remain pending until payment evidence has been received and verified. Confirmation is provided once payment has been accepted.

Custom jewelry begins with a 50% deposit after the quotation and design direction have been confirmed. The remaining 50% is due after final photographs have been shared and before the completed piece is delivered or collected.

Yes. You may bring your own gemstone for us to consider. We will inspect and photograph its condition before accepting it for setting, then discuss whether it is suitable for the intended design. If the gemstone is particularly fragile, damaged or unsuitable for secure setting, we will explain the risks and may recommend another approach.

Custom jewelry may be created in sterling silver, 9K, 14K or 18K gold in yellow, white or rose, and platinum. The most suitable material will depend on the design, gemstone, intended wear and budget. Available accent stones may also be discussed as part of the quotation.

We begin with your gemstone, reference or idea and clarify the design direction with you personally. Once the quotation is accepted and the deposit is received, we prepare the design or CAD for your approval. Production begins only after the final direction has been confirmed. Final photographs are shared before the remaining payment and delivery.

Production generally takes approximately two weeks to one month, depending on the complexity of the piece and the current order schedule. An estimated timeline will be provided before production begins. Changes may be requested during the design stage, although significant revisions may affect the price or timing. Once the final design has been approved and production has begun, further changes may not be possible.

Sookjai does not operate as a walk-in store. Gemstone viewings are arranged privately by appointment near Silom, allowing us to prepare the selected gemstones and give each conversation our full attention.

Yes. Our personal sourcing service is complimentary and welcomes every budget. Tell us the gemstone or diamond, colour, shape, size or other qualities you are looking for, and we will search through our suppliers and the gemstone market. There is no obligation until you choose an option.

Search time varies according to the rarity of the gemstone and how specific the request is. Suitable options are presented as they become available, and if an exact match cannot be found, we may suggest the closest considered alternatives. When you choose an option, we reconfirm its availability and full payment is required within 24 hours to secure it. A private viewing may be arranged within the same availability window whenever possible.

Every order is prepared and packaged securely before delivery. Delivery with tracking is available throughout Thailand, while same-day delivery by a trusted rider may be arranged within Bangkok when appropriate. The available method, delivery cost and expected timing will be confirmed before dispatch.

A loose gemstone may be returned within three days of receipt if it does not correspond with the information presented by Sookjai. Once the return has been inspected and accepted, the gemstone payment will be refunded in full. Please contact us before returning the item so that we can provide the appropriate instructions. Custom jewelry and production costs cannot be refunded once the gemstone has been set or production has begun.

Sookjai custom jewelry includes a six-month warranty covering setting issues and plating that peels under normal wear. One complimentary resizing is also available when the design and construction of the piece allow it. Accidental damage, normal surface wear, gemstone damage and work performed by another jeweler are not covered. We will inspect the piece first and explain any available service or cost before proceeding.
